Bonfire’s core functionality allows users to design and sell custom t-shirts through their free-to-use, zero overheads tool. This platform is aptly suited to the creator industry, allowing them to sell merch to fans with zero risk to their revenue streams. The Bonfire X program was developed to offer exclusive features and benefits to verified creators on the platform.
During the early growth stage of the program, an initiative was launched to over-exceed the Bonfire experience for select VIP creators with the intention of graining and retaining these key clients. Due to restrictions within the platform’s storefront customisations, we decided to create off-site 100% customised and on brand storefronts for creators through a specifically developed API and integration with website building platform, Webflow.
Each creator worked with Bonfire to design and launch their custom merch line or limited edition drops, while a unique e-commerce store experience was created allowing users to get the full fan experience while shopping their favourite creators merch. After filling a faux-cart with their chosen products users were directed back to Bonfire to complete the sale on-site without ever knowing they weren’t shopping a. real e-commerce store. Unique marketing promotions were able to be built into storefront experiences to coincide with new merch drops.
